Are You Amused?
My album, “Are You Amused?” is the companion piece to my book, “Let Me Out,” an in-the-moment account of my involuntary stay in the Wyoming State mental institution.
In keeping with my record’s content, I wanted the music to sound schizophrenic in the way that every song on the album is very different in style. For example, we’ve got opera, New Orleans brass band, chain gang, gospel, butt rock, horns, piano, strings, etc.
